Adventure #234

I left London today and not with out drama.( it wouldn't be like me to do it in a calm orderly fashion.) Here is how the story goes:Last night a whole bunch of us went to this huge Halloween party and didn't come home until about 4 in the morning - whoever told me England doesn't do Halloween is a big fat liar- it was a great night; loads of fun! Any who, i was meant to awake at around 1o this morning so that Talulah and i could go to this little art gallery before i had to head to the coach station to make my way over to Manchester... we woke up at 11:45. Why is this a problem? My coach bus was leaving at 1:30, we had to leave at 12:45 to get there on time and i still had not finished packing. So, I quickly showered, packed and by the grace of God left the flat at 12:45 on the dot.Everything was going quite smoothly until we got on the tube and an announcement came on saying something along the lines of "this tube is terminating at the next stop, all passengers must exit the train at the next station." Why is this a problem? The station we had to get off at did not have a tube going to our stop resulting in us having to transfer three times in order to get to our destination... i arrived at the bus gate at 1:33- no joke!I calmly walked to the ticket booth and purchased a ticket for the next bus, leaving at approximately 5pm. AWESOME! Finally, after hours of waiting and then hours of sitting on a stuffy bus i arrived at the bus station!HURRAH! Was my aunt there to pick me up? No, of course not. How was she supposed to know that this bus line had switched terminals!!?? I hopped in a cab and payed another 7 pounds to get to where i originally was supposed to be. FABULOUS!Now, as dramatic as all of this was, it ended up being quite good. I enjoy the extra bit of chaos whilst travelling. It adds to the whole experience really. Now i am all safe and sound in my aunty's adorable house on a hillside drinking tea and eating chocolate biscuits - how posh!

Hold up, wait a minute, let me put my two cents in it!

I went clubbing for my 18th! oh man, what a blast! first of all, new fave drink, lemonade and vodka, sooo good. Second of all, i love black boys who can dance! It was such an interesting night, i went up to the bar and there were these two gorgeous boys ordering drinks. Yes, i defs want all up on that! lols. Anyways, i ordered my drink and then went back to dancing with all my friends. Then the next time i went back to the bar, again, these beautiful men just standing there is all their beautifulness. Because im not so in to approaching really gorgeous men that i dont know i walked away... but then, like twenty minutes later one of them came up to me and was like, come dance? and i was like...HELL YES! He was half black and had green eyes, please, how could i not! Anyways, the night was great and i just danced the night away!

oh... and there may have been some kissing......

Just touched down in London town!

Hey all my lovelies,

My adventure has begun! I have been in England for just over a week now and i have been non stop! This country is absolutely beautiful, straight up, its so good! I just got the train into london last night and am staying with my cousin in her dorm room for the week. London is pretty fab, loads of people all the time and unfortunately it is kinda smelly...but that is mostly on the tube( that is the equivalent to our skytrains). Today i went to Portobello Market which is in Notting Hill. It was kind of like a gypsy market. Loads of people selling crazy things from fur coats to old tea sets. Pretty fab!

Now to the good stuff. OMG! the boys here are sooooo beautiful. All of them!.... okay, well not all but I would say at least... 80 percent. straight up!

Unfortunately my laptop is being lame at the moment so i cant upload pictures but as soon as it works i will post loads...that makes me sound like i have been taking pictures of boys on the tube while they are not looking but i havent. the pictures are of england... and maybe a few boys... :D

peace out gangstas

holy sea-cow!

A month and a half after we parted from Miyako, Team Hidamari has united once again!
this time in beautiful IZU, which happens to be one of Japan's best diving spots!! from the boat we saw mt. FUJI and OSEZAKI isl. :D:D:D
mt. fuji was already covered in snow and looked so amazing. i think i turned a bit more japanese when i saw it! lol.

the first point we went to was like EEL-CENTRAL. x(
there were so many of them just chillin around in the water... ahh! but apparently, i was the only one that was disturbed by their freakishly long and thick bodies swimming around!
our first dive was 17m but the water was so COLD half way through the course i started to shiver in the water!

the second dive was a point called CORAL GARDEN and it was just that. the rocks at the bottom were covered in these long stringy soft corals! less eel and more fish here! woot.
saw some WILD GOLD FISH and ginormous sea urchins (the size of my hand). also saw some cute JASMINE OSEZAKI SEACOWS... we tried to look up the name of the sea cow we saw but couldnt find it so jasmine decided to name it after herself..lol

after our second dive we ate YAKISOBA on our boat and took a nice nap on the deck.

it was so sunny and warm 0n the deck... mmm.... sleep.

but after nap time was super active time!! we hopped on the banana boat for a spin around the bay! holy seacow! banana boats are so fun! i became party def from my own screams and my body is still hurting from getting flung off! We lost Passion on the one of the turns and had to go and rescue her lol...and Jasmine died from being in the front. good times all around

so this past weekend was so exciting! cant wait for this weekend's international party at Leafcup!

genius babies

So currently I have three little munchkins that I teach English to. They are all boys, Yuri, Ryugo, and Kiyotaka. I'm pretty sure they are all three years old. And my, they are such darlings! They bring joy to my tuesday and tursday mornings. I am so tempted to produce "Japanese Kids Say the Darndest Things". Seriously! Especially Kiyo the cute and girly one is pretty much fluent in English! It's absolutely amazing! He can speak as much English as any Canadian three year old. And oh how he knows how to use his big bug eyes to manipulate!!

Today as we were gluing paper monsters to make our Halloween bags, sneaky Kiyo tells me...

"I can't glue! Pleath help me! It's too hard! I can't do it!!"

So I told him...

"Yes you can Kiyo! You are a big boy, you can do it"

Then he continues to negotiate with...

"Okay, Okay. Then, pleath, let's do together. Come on! Come on! We do together right?"

Oh Kiyo you are so cheeky. It's like he has a blueprint of how to get what he wants without getting in trouble. Smart child, perhaps too smart! *sigh, but this is why I love chids so much.. too manipulative but too cute to resist <3
